Rover's Retreat is owned and run by Melanie Vincent, a native of South Haven. Melanie attended Wisconsin School of Professional Pet Grooming. After graduating she worked at Puppy Love in Saugatuck, Melanie opened Rover's Retreat in July of 2001. Originally located next door to South Haven Animal Hospital, Rover's Retreat moved to a bigger location in January of 2005. Melanie regularly attends grooming shows and conferences to stay up to date on her grooming skills.
